The Foreign Press was an Austrian newspaper that appeared in Vienna . It and its predecessors appeared with different titles between March 1882 and March 1938. From 1882 to 1885 and from 1894 to 1905 it was called Extrapost , between 1885 and 1893 Illustrierte Mondags-Zeitung and then until 1894 Mondays-Zeitung der Extrapost . From 1905 it was called the Vienna Monday Journal , then from 1920 Vienna Monday Press and from 1921 Vienna Foreign Press . From 1922 to 1938 it appeared under its last title as a foreign press .

Extra post

The extra post of January 4, 1885

The Extra Post appeared from March 5, 1885 to August 24, 1894 and from September 10 to October 2, 1905. It came out every Sunday, and its publishers changed over the years. As a secondary title, it ran the addition of the Monday newspaper from 1894 and the impartial Monday newspaper from 1901 . The Extrapost was published from 1885 to 1893 under the title Illustrierte Montags-Zeitung and then until 1894 as the Monday newspaper of the Extrapost .

Vienna Monday Journal

The Wiener Mondags-Journal was published on Sundays in Vienna from October 9, 1905 to May 17, 1920 and had the secondary titles Unparteiische Mondags-Zeitung and Unparteiische Zeitung .

The Wiener Mondags-Presse appeared from May 24, 1920 to August 22, 1921. It came out on Sundays and at times ran the sub-title Montagfrühblatt for and about abroad . The publisher and editor-in-chief was Alexander Salkind.

The Vienna Foreign Press was published from August 29, 1921 to September 28, 1922 in Vienna and Rotterdam . It came out two to three times a week by Orbis Verlag.
