Viennese latest news from July 22, 1938

Wiener Latest Nachrichten is the name of two newspapers from Vienna that were published between 1894 and 1945 in various formats.

At first the newspaper had the title “Sunday and Monday Gazette: independent organ for the political, economic and social interests of the Christian people in Austria”. From the edition of November 9, 1896, this title was changed to "independent Monday newspaper for the political, economic and social interests of the Christian people in Austria" and finally from October 4, 1909 to "independent Monday morning paper: organ for political, economic and social interests of the Christian people in Austria ”. Ultimately, in 1914 there was a further additional change in "independent organ for the political, economic and social interests of the Christian people in Austria" until finally, from November 19, 1917, the newspaper only had the title "Montag-Frühblatt". From November 18, 1901 to November 17, 1902, the rubric “Financial Communications / Vienna Currency Exchange Society” appeared. In the years 1918 to 1919 the supplement “Politische Frauenzeitung”.

The continuation was found in the newspaper “Wiener Latest Nachrichten” under the title Neues Montagblatt , which was titled “With Sport des Sonntag” and was published from March 10, 1919 to June 25, 1928.

Another newspaper was published from October 30, 1925 to April 5, 1945 under the same title, “Vienna Latest News”. In the format 2 ° (41 × 26 cm) this changed its appearance several times.
