The WSE Vienna Standortentwicklungsgesellschaft GmbH (. Former Vienna Stadtentwicklungsgesellschaft) was more important than a company of the City of Vienna for the development, implementation and management in 2001, real estate - founded and urban development areas and incorporated in 2003 in Wien Holding.
It also acts as the parent company , by setting up subsidiaries for the implementation of specific projects , in which partnerships with private companies are also possible. For example, Wiener Messebesitz GmbH (MBG) is a subsidiary of WSE, and the same applies to Real Estate Development St. Marx GmbH.
On behalf of the Vienna Hospital Association KAV, the WSE is developing re-use concepts for several hospital locations.
