Wies (Lautrach)

Wies is a part of the municipality of Lautrach . The single farm is about two kilometers south of Lautrach. In 1987 it had eight residents.

history

In 1642 Hans Christoph Giel, brother of the Kempten abbot Roman Giel von Gielsberg and nurse zu Hohenthann, acquired the Meierhof zur Wies. In 1832 it was listed as a wasteland under the name Wieß . and in Meyer's local and traffic lexicon from 1913, 14 residents are listed for Wieß.
