A wild card

In the card game poker , the term wildcard or wild card describes an expansion of the deck of cards with a few specific cards. Depending on the poker variant, the joker has different options.

Often these cards are jokers , the game variant is called Bug . Players holding the joker may use it on any card in the deck. For example, if you have a pair , they turn into triples with the help of a joker .

Five Card Draw Poker is usually played with a Joker, which, however, does not represent all possible cards, but only as either ace or to complete a road or flushes can be used. But not to form a king of three of a kind.
