Wildfly outcrop in Mitteltobelbach
The natural monument Wildflyschaufschluss Mitteltobelbach is located in the area of the L 193 (Damülser Straße) in the municipality of Au in the Bregenzerwald , Vorarlberg , Austria . The clearly visible wildfly outcrop on Damülser Straße is a meeting of different types of rock over a length of about 70 meters (about 1096 m above sea level ), where the interfaces between large different geological units in Vorarlberg are clearly visible occur can be viewed. The entire area of the wildfly outcrop here is around 3.1 hectares .

The municipality of Au has a complex geological structure and consists of (examples):
- Limes of the Helveticum,
- Ultrahelvetic marls,
- Penninic flysch rocks, as well
- Sand shale of the Piesenkopf Formation
- Marls (sea limestone),
- Marls and clay marls of the Schilt formation,
- Limes of the Drusberg Formation and
- Limes of the fifth formation
- Limestone and slate marl of the Palfris Formation and
- Dolomites of the Eastern Alps
together.

The natural monument was placed under protection in 1991.
