The Tannenbusch Wildlife Park is a year-round zoo in Dormagen - Delhoven . The 20 hectare area was opened in 1960. The park is run by the Stadtbad- und Verkehrsgesellschaft Dormagen.

The park is home to around 200 animals in 25 species. However, only native (or formerly native) animals are kept. A large portion of livestock makes the Red - Dam and - mouflon from. There are also wild boar and tarpan houses. A pheasant farm has golden pheasants , hens and capercaillies . Various water birds and storks are at home on the two ponds . There are also some yellow-eared jewelery turtles living in the ponds. In addition, corvids , owls , and white unhorned and gray horned heather sheep are kept.

In 1972, a forest education facility was added to the wildlife park, which was later named Haus Tannenbusch . In 1980 the adjoining geopark was opened, in which stones that shape the landscape are exhibited. The search for traces project was founded eight years later. For this purpose, several stations with information on nature and environmental issues were set up throughout the forest. A fitness trail is also available. On the three-kilometer route, the visitor has to solve sporting tasks. Today the fir bush still has a forest kindergarten and a petting zoo.
