Wilhelm Mauren

Wilhelm Mauren , actually Wilhelm Maurenbrecher (born April 22, 1870 in Königsberg , † November 2, 1929 in Dortmund  ?) Was a German theater actor and director .

Life

He began his stage career in 1889 at the Altenburg Court Theater , joined the Meiningen Court Theater Association in 1890 , where he remained until 1897, then worked in Düsseldorf and was hired in 1898 for the Zurich City Theater , where he proved himself as an actor and director.

His father was the historian Wilhelm Maurenbrecher , his brothers the classical philologist Berthold Maurenbrecher , the director Otto Maurenbrecher and the theologian Max Maurenbrecher .
