Willi Hein

Willi Hein (born June 21, 1894 in Berlin ; † after 1950) was a German politician ( LDPD ) and from 1946 to 1950 a member of the Brandenburg State Parliament .

Life

Willi Hein was a member of the SPD during the Weimar Republic . After the war , in 1945 he was one of the founders of the LDPD in Brandenburg . From July 1948 to September 1949 he was an assessor on the LDPD regional executive committee.

In the state elections in the Soviet Zone in 1946 , he was elected to the Landtag of Brandenburg for the LDPD . In the state parliament he was chairman of the committee for district and community affairs.

He resisted the increasing pressure for conformity by the SED . At the beginning of 1950 he had to flee to the West.

After fleeing, he continued his fight against the establishment of a dictatorship in Central Germany. He became chairman of the West Berlin regional group of the East LDPD Refugee Association and in 1951 a member of the board of the LDPD in exile West Berlin.
