William Baines Marsden (* 1860 in Southport , † May 10, 1942 in Sleaford ) was a British marksman .

William Marsden took part in the 1908 Olympic Games in London with the small bore rifle in the individual competition on the moving target. He was one of four shooters who achieved the best result of the competition with 24 points. After evaluating the goals, John Fleming was declared Olympic champion , while Marsden was ranked third behind Maurice Matthews and thus won the bronze medal.
