Windkanal is a specialist magazine for recorder players. It serves musicians in various areas of activity as an information and discussion organ.
The areas of university, music school, concert practice, parish, playing group and adult education are covered by the magazine in view of the recorder instrument . Composers, instrument makers and publishers for recorder are also regularly presented.
Topics are: old and new music for recorder, musician portraits and interviews as well as an appointment calendar that provides information on symposia, congresses and training events in German-speaking countries.
The target group of the magazine is the professional instrumentalist as well as the committed layman and amateur musician.
Wind tunnel is published by Conrad Mollenhauer GmbH in Fulda. The magazine has been published every quarter since 1997 with 40 to 44 pages and a circulation of 1,750.
