This table shows the medal table of the 7th Winter Paralympics , which took place in Nagano in 1998 . The placements are sorted according to the number of gold medals won, followed by the number of silver and bronze medals ( lexicographical order ). If two or more countries have an identical medal balance, they are listed alphabetically on the same rank.
