Winter wonderland
Winter Wonderland ( Winter Wonderland ) is an English song that often around the holiday season is sung. The music was composed by Felix Bernard (1897-1944), the text is by Richard B. Smith (1901-1935). The first recording was made in 1934 by Richard Himber and His Ritz-Carlton Orchestra with Joey Nash.
There are countless recordings of the song in English-speaking countries and beyond. A well-known German text comes from Knud Schwielow († 1974). The song is also known in German under the title White Winter Forest .
