WIRE is a specialist magazine in English for the European wire , spring , molded parts and cable industries . It promotes the exchange of knowledge and contacts between outfitters and suppliers, service providers, customers and research. The main sectors are machine, plant and vehicle construction, manufacturers of technical springs based on wire, and the shipbuilding, aircraft and electrical industries.

WIRE appears three times a year at the leading international trade fairs. The target group are technicians, engineers, planners and decision-makers involved in the manufacture and production of wire, cables, ropes, grids and fabrics, springs and molded parts. Articles from industry and science provide information on the status, trends and technologies in the spring, wire and cable industry. The whole thing is supplemented by reports from the trade associations on industry and company developments and reports on products for wire and cable production as well as from the industry itself.
