Commercial traffic

With commercial traffic , the local change processes of goods, people and messages are referred to under the production of goods (eg. As goods, services) or to the supply and disposal of business entities (industry, trade, commerce) take place. Individual areas of goods transport and passenger transport are part of commercial transport, e.g. B. internal transport , business trips or trips by service providers (e.g. mobile nursing staff) from one place of work to the next, possibly with material for the provision of services. The volume of commercial traffic is playing an increasing role, particularly in the context of urban traffic planning.

Areas are:

  • Freight transport, especially internal transport (works transport )
  • Service and service traffic
  • Business and official traffic
  • Traffic of the protection and emergency services
