Knowledge relay
The knowledge relay is a method of knowledge management to preserve and pass on personal knowledge. The knowledge relay is used to pass on the knowledge of changing or leaving employees.
Knowledge transfer , methods of knowledge retention and expert debriefing are synonymous with the term knowledge relay.

- Avoid duplication of work
methodology
The starting point for using the knowledge relay is the need to share or pass on knowledge. The process can vary depending on the situation. There are different approaches here. However, they all have in common that the goals of the knowledge relay are first set. Then a moderator conducts semi-structured or structured interviews with the knowledge carrier (s) and knowledge recipient (s) to record, visualize and prioritize relevant areas of knowledge. Mind maps are often used for this. The identified topics are then used in moderated discussions using other transfer methods such as storytelling, lessons learned or other workshop formats. An accompanying documentation such as B. microarticles or mind maps are suitable for long-term preservation of knowledge.
