Wittelsbach Anniversary Foundation

The Wittelsbach Jubilee Foundation permits since 1980 talented Bavarian women scholarship within the Maximilianeum Foundation , could be included in the previously male students.

The foundation was established in 1980 when the head of the Wittelsbach family , Albrecht Duke of Bavaria, established an endowment . The occasion was the 800th anniversary of the award of the Duchy of Bavaria to Otto von Wittelsbach .
