The Nerche residential building is located at Cimbernstrasse 3–5 on the corner of Düsseldorfer Strasse in Düsseldorf-Oberkassel . The house was built from 1927 to 1928 based on designs by Wilhelm Hoppe for the garden architect Wilhelm Nerche (* 1884). "Stylistically, it is rather very cautiously modern with now slightly belated expressionist echoes". The complex consists of two structures, the component on Düsseldorfer Straße is three-story with an eaves gable roof. The house on Cimbernstrasse has an expressionist stepped gable. "The building is remarkable because it is one of the few high-quality residential buildings of its time"
