The Wolf group of companies is an owner-managed family company with headquarters in Schwandorf in Upper Palatinate in Bavaria . Founded in 1925, Wolf has developed over the years from a small craft business into a well-known company in the sausage industry. Today the company is run in the fourth generation by Christian Wolf. With a total of 1200 employees, Wolf generates annual sales of around 300 million euros at the production sites in Schwandorf, Nuremberg, Schmölln and Burglengenfeld . The Wolf Group is counted among the ten most important sausage manufacturers in Germany.

Sales and Products

Wolf products are sold through food retailers and in over 70 of its own specialist branches.

Bavarian and Thuringian specialties form the focus of the offer. Among other things, Wolf produces Nürnberger Rostbratwürstchen , as well as the Original Thuringian Rostbratwürste , the Thuringian Liver Sausage and the Thuringian Red Sausage , which have been under EU protection of origin since 2003 .
