Wolfgang Harnisch
Wolfgang Harnisch (born November 12, 1934 in Solingen ) is a Protestant New Testament scholar.
Harnisch received his doctorate in 1967 from the Philipps University of Marburg under Ernst Fuchs . In 1971 he completed his habilitation with Fuchs with an investigation into the 1st Thessalonians letter. In 1972 he became a professor at the Reutlingen University of Education . In 1974 he accepted a professorship for the New Testament at the University of Marburg, which he held until his retirement in 1998.
