Wolfgang Kunth

Wolfgang Kunth was a table tennis player in the GDR . In 1949 he was GDR champion in doubles.

Wolfgang Kunth came from Merseburg . He played for the Chemie Leuna club in the 1940s and 1950s . He achieved several successes in doubles with Werner Rademacher . With him he won the GDR championship in doubles, which was held for the first time in 1949. In 1950 or 1952 they reached the final, also in 1951. In 1950 he was also second in mixed with Astrid Horn .
