The Wolfgang Lemke GmbH in Haan , Germany , is the importer and manufacturer of model articles , especially for model trains in nominal sizes N and H0 .

In 2002 Lemke took over the tool molds and trademark rights of the Austrian model railway manufacturer Hobbytrain and has been producing models under this name since 2004 in cooperation with the Japanese company KATO . Furthermore, the company has been producing small series and special models under the name "Lemke Collection" since the early 1990s . These are designed and produced in Germany or South Korea .

The company has been the general importer for KATO products since 1990. As part of this cooperation, not only American and Japanese models were imported, but models were also manufactured for the German and European markets.

Until the end of the 1990s, Lemke was also responsible for the official German sales of the model railway brands Rivarossi , Lima and Jouef . After the purchase of these brands by Hornby Railways in 2004, Lemke was once again given German sales, plus the products of the Hornby brand Arnold . In 2006 Hornby took over distribution himself.
