Wolfgang Matt (model airplane pilot)

Wolfgang Matt is a Liechtenstein model airplane pilot.

He and his family shaped model flying in the F3A category for decades. Among other things, he was two-time F3A world champion and was named Liechtenstein's Sportsman of the Century in 2000.

In December 2016 he was awarded the Golden Laurel Leaf .

Models

Wolfgang Matt, together with his brother Günther Matt and his son Roland Matt, built dozens of F3A models that are still extremely popular in popular model flying today. Such as the sapphire, the diamond or the super star. His current model for F3A competitions is the Oxai Citrin double-decker.
