The Wolfgang Chapel in Neudenau

The Wolfgang chapel in Neudenau in the district of Heilbronn in northern Baden-Württemberg has its origins in the late Gothic period , was enlarged in 1720 and today serves as a cemetery chapel for the Neudenau cemetery, which was built near the chapel in 1780 .

The chapel facing east with the choir area is located at the Neudenauer Jagstbrücke and was possibly once a station on a pilgrimage route. The building has a roof turret on the western end of the ridge. The interior of the chapel has been characterized by simple renovations in recent times; the last major renovation took place in 2004. A tombstone from 1798 is built into the northern inner wall.
