Cloud automaton

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The cloud automaton was an imaging method for determining the size, height, direction and speed of the clouds . For this purpose, the sky was shown in chronological order ( time lapse ) from two different points at the same time with two coupled "cameras". The desired information could be obtained through the different imaging of the clouds on the exposed plates.
