Wong Lo Kat ( Chinese  王老 吉 , Pinyin Wánglǎojí ) is a Chinese herbal drink and one of the most popular soft drinks in China. In mainland China , Wong Lo Kat is commonly sold in red cans or small (250 ml) tetrapack-like boxes.

Wong Lo Kat was invented by the doctor Wong Chat Bong in 1828 during the Qing Dynasty in the Chinese provinces of Guangdong and Guangxi . Because the Wong family invented the art of herbal tea in southern China, their name is synonymous with this type of tea. The recipe has been passed down through several generations until today. The Wong Lo Kat brand has a brand value of approximately RMB 2.244 billion and 2008 sales of RMB 12 billion.
