World Cleanup Day

The World Cleanup Day , German Weltaufräumtag , is a global day of action in the context of social action in which the environment should be exempt from waste. It takes place on the third Saturday of September. The first day of action took place on September 18, 2018. The second day of action on September 21, 2019 was held at the same time as the World Day of Peace and a climate strike day.

In 2008, the “Let's do it” foundation held a day of action for the first time to clean up the seashore in Estonia .
