The World Institute of Scientology Enterprises (WISE) is a worldwide association of Scientology companies using L. Ron Hubbard's management techniques.

WISE International is located in Los Angeles , which is also where Scientology's international management is located.

The official goal as an umbrella organization is to ensure that members - bound by license agreements to WISE - widely disseminate Hubbard's administrative technology by gradually introducing Scientology's ethical principles, codes and principles into the entire business world.

WISE members must undertake to comply with the WISE code. Among other things, they are not allowed to go to courts in disputes with other WISE members, but must limit themselves to internal Scientology procedures. Membership dues range between US $ 250 and US $ 36,000 annually (2005), depending on membership level. Depending on the type of business, six to ten percent of sales have to be delivered every week .

WISE members work, among other things, in personnel consulting, management consulting, personnel training and in the real estate industry.

WISE officially declares that it is not affiliated with Scientology . On the other hand, Scientology stated in its application to the Internal Revenue Service :

WISE was "established to accomplish various goals in terms of the expansion of religion and the diffusion of secular uses of technology throughout society. It ensures that Scientologists who conduct commercial business do not disrupt church activities by stopping their businesses." conduct or promote church soil, or by employing church staff. It provides a chaplain service to its members through which they can resolve disputes according to the rules of the Scientology ethics and justice system. It is also responsible for licensing commercial companies when offering secular services under the Scientology or Dianetics trademarks, or secular works derived from Mr. Hubbard's proprietary works, to ensure that use does not infringe the scriptures. "

According to the final report of the Enquète Commission of the German Bundestag “So-called sects and psychogroups” published in 1998, the International Director currently in charge of WISE named the tasks of WISE at an annual celebration of the International Association of Scientologists in 1990 as follows:

“… We now have many spheres of influence within society through the application of LRH (L. Ron Hubbard) technology in many different areas. One such area is the business world, where we are replacing a jungle of out-ethics and arbitrary solutions with L. Ron Hubbard's standard administrative technology. This is done by the World Institute of Scientology Enterprises = WISE. WISE's mission is to introduce ethics to business and to make common sense by disseminating LRH's achievements in the field of administration. With thousands of members in more than 22 countries, WISE is making an ever increasing impact on society. A number of large global companies have received services from WISE members. ... "
