World Port Index

The World Port Index is a worldwide directory of seaports published by the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) of the USA.

The 27th edition was published in September 2019 and includes 3,630 ports in 195 countries, which are divided into 347 regions. Each port has a unique five-digit index number. The names of the ports are recorded in English in Latin script without diacritical marks . The ports and their facilities are briefly described in around 70 categories.
