World Sustainable Energy Days

The World Sustainable Energy Days (WSED) are an international congress organized by the O.Ö. Energiesparverband has been held annually at the beginning of March in Wels / Upper Austria since 1992 .

The congress lasts an average of 3 days and is usually attended by around 900 participants from 55 - 60 countries. The focus is on energy efficiency, renewable energy sources and eco-energy technologies. The event will be translated simultaneously into several languages ​​and is aimed at experts and decision-makers from around the world.

The congress offers a combination of several specialist events in which the latest technological developments, outstanding examples and European strategies are presented. It also offers an opportunity for new partnerships and makes an important contribution to awareness-raising and public relations work.

In parallel to the World Sustainable Energy Days, the energy saving fair takes place every year, with over 800 exhibitors per year one of the largest exhibitions in Europe in the field of renewable energy and energy efficiency.
