The Energiesparverband Upper Austria the country Upper Austria promotes the efficient and environmentally friendly use of energy. With more than 10,000 annual energy consultations for private households, companies and communities and a total of around 75 employees and consultants, it is one of the largest such public consultancy institutions in Europe.
Tasks and objectives
The association is a regional energy agency founded as an association by the state of Upper Austria in the early 1990s with international tasks with the aim of promoting energy efficiency and renewable energy sources as well as innovative energy technologies. It is the central point of contact for energy information and one of the largest providers of product-independent energy advice and information throughout Europe.
He is also responsible for the cluster management of the Upper Austrian Eco-Energy Cluster.
Furthermore, he is the contact address for subsidies and energy issues in Upper Austria and the organizer of the World Sustainable Energy Days , the largest annual eco-energy conference in Europe. It awards the State Energy Prize Energie STAR .
With thousands of consultations in the household, commercial and industrial sectors every year, it is now one of the largest European consulting institutions for end consumers in the energy sector. Energy advice is offered to private households, trade / industry as well as public institutions.
The managing director is the Austrian energy efficiency and eco-energy expert Gerhard Dell , his deputy is Mag. Christiane Egger. Chairman is LR Michael Strugl , his deputies are LHStV Manfred Haimbuchner and LR Rudi Anschober .
