Gerhard Dell

Gerhard Dell (born March 4, 1961 ) is an Austrian energy economist , state energy commissioner in the Austrian state of Upper Austria and managing director of O.Ö. Energy saving association .

Life

After attending the technical college, he studied electrical engineering and energy management at the Graz University of Technology . During this time he founded the Sart-Up Peronospara-Messtechnik together with R. Hruby and J. Sojer. He received his doctorate with distinction as a Doctor of Technical Sciences in 1992.

As an energy officer, he is responsible, among other things, for the implementation of the Upper Austrian energy concept and the associated programs. As an energy expert, he is particularly active in the areas of renewable energy sources, energy efficiency and new energy technologies . Dell is a university lecturer at the Johannes Kepler University Linz , member of the Electricity Advisory Board and an expert for the European Commission . Also holder of the Austrian State Prize for Energy Research, the golden mark of merit of the Republic of Austria and has published numerous specialist publications on the subjects of energy technology, eco-energy, the energy industry and energy policy .
