Energy saving fair in Wels

The Energiesparmesse Wels is one of the largest trade fairs worldwide on the subject of energy efficiency and renewable energy and was founded in 1985 as an energy-saving trade fair for heat and heating in Gmunden. Since 1991 the fair has been held every spring at the Wels Exhibition Center ( Upper Austria ). The fair lasts five days, with the first two days being reserved for trade visitors. The trade fair is being organized by Messe Wels GmbH & Co KG .

history

The first energy saving fair took place from March 8th to 10th, 1985 in Gmunden as an energy saving exhibition heat + heating. In 1989, plans began in Wels to hold an energy-saving trade fair in parallel with Gmunden. This should take place for the first time from March 1st to 4th, 1990. The exhibitors then forced both organizers to compromise. The fair has been held in Wels since 1991.
