Worldwide Association of Business Coaches

The Worldwide Association of Business Coaches (WABC) is a global coaching - Association .

It was founded in 2002 and emerged from the Canadian National Association of Business Coaches (NABC), which was founded in 1997 . According to its own information, it is the first international coaching association that is exclusively dedicated to coaching in the professional field ( business coaching ). The WABC is aimed at both internal and external coaches who work in commercial enterprises, scientific and government organizations or other institutions. It develops and promotes the increasing professionalization of coaching worldwide and accredits certification and training courses for business coaches.

WABC currently has close to 1,000 members, the majority of whom are based in English-speaking countries, mostly in North America and the UK .

Members must meet admission requirements for business and coaching experience and client references are required.

Wendy Johnson, a psychologist, is currently the President and CEO of WABC.
