Vsevolod Nikolayevich Nekrasov

Vsevolod Nikolajewitsch Nekrassow ( Russian Всеволод Николаевич Некрасов ; born March 24, 1934 in Moscow ; † May 15, 2009 , ibid) was a Russian poet and representative of Concrete Poetry .

life and work

Vsevolod Nekrasov was born in Moscow in 1934. In 1956 he began to be active as a poet. He belonged to the Russian Nonconformists , was a member of the Lianosowo group and one of the co-founders of Moscow Conceptualism . The philologist and Slavist Anna Schuravljowa was Nekrasov's wife.

For a long time, Vsevolod Nekrasov was prohibited from making his works accessible to the Russian public. Since 1989 he has translated and published volumes of poetry in various languages: Poems from a Magazine (1989), Inquiry (1991) and Fair and Less than Fair (1996), Selected Poems (2002).
