Wu Hao
Wu Hao ( Chinese : 吴 皓, Wú Hào), also known as Tian Yi, is a documentary filmmaker and blogger who was arrested by the Chinese government on February 22, 2006. He was released on July 11, 2006. According to Global Voices Online , an initiative of the Harvard Berkman Center for Internet and Society , Hao had started working on a documentary about the Christian underground movement in China when he was arrested. After the arrest, Ethan Zuckerman , co-founder of Global Voices, created an internationally acclaimed blog reporting on the consequences of the imprisonment.
