Wudu is the language of the Wudu people of the same name .

The Wudu are one of the numerically smallest peoples of Togo. Wudu is critically endangered and belongs to the Kwa languages .

There should be around 2,000 speakers in Togo. The language Wudu is mainly used in the Oren Gbékon and Glitho.

The language area of ​​the Wudu lies between the 6th and 7th parallel, east of the language area of ​​the Mahi language . In the south it borders on the language areas of the Fon and Aja languages .
