Wujiazhai Railway Bridge
The Wujiazhai Railway Bridge ( Chinese 五 家寨 铁路 桥 , Pinyin Wǔjiāzhài tiělù qiáo ), also "Wujiazhai-Ren (human) character bridge" of the Yunnan-Vietnam Railway ( 滇越铁路 五 家寨 人 字 桥 , Diān- Yuè Tiělù Wǔjiāzhài Rénzìqiáo ) is a railway bridge built by the French between 1907 and 1908 on the Yunnan Railway in the municipality of Heping of the Pingbian Autonomous County of the Miao . The French referred to the bridge as Viaduc de Fausse-Nam-Ti . It has a span of 67 m and lies 100 m above the valley floor of the Sicha He ( 四 岔河 ), a tributary of the Nanxi He (French: Namti or Nami-ti ).
The bridge has been on the list of monuments of the People's Republic of China (6-1053) since 2006 .
