Wulf Hein

Wulf Hein (* 1959 ) is a German experimental archaeologist and archaeotechnician from Dorn-Assenheim, who makes the everyday life of our Stone Age ancestors tangible and tangible by reconstructing prehistoric buildings, pieces of clothing and musical instruments such as flutes.

After high school and a carpenter apprenticeship, Wulf Hein has been working independently in the field of archaeological engineering since 1990. Among other things, Hein carved a replica of the almost 40,000 year old Geißenklösterle flute from the Swabian Alb. The flautist Anna Friederike Potengowski recorded a CD on the replica of this Stone Age flute.
