Wuming (Nanning)
Wuming ( Chinese 武鸣 区 , Pinyin Wǔmíng Qū ; Zhuang Vujmingz Gih ) is a district of the prefecture -level city of Nanning , the capital of the Guangxi Autonomous Region of the Zhuang nationality in the south of the People's Republic of China . It has an area of 3,367 km² and has a population of around 650,000 (2004). The main town is Chengxiang (城厢镇).
Administrative structure
At the community level, Wuming is made up of 13 large communities . These are:
- Greater community Chengxiang (城厢镇);
- Greater community Taiping (太平镇);
- Greater community Shuangqiaoshan (双桥镇);
- Greater community Ganxu (甘圩镇);
- Greater community Ningwu (宁武镇);
- Greater community Luoxu (锣圩镇);
- Greater community Xianhu (仙湖镇);
- Fucheng Municipality (府 城镇);
- Luwo Municipality (陆 斡 镇);
- Greater community Liang Jiang (两江镇);
- Greater community Luobo (罗波镇);
- Greater community Lingma (灵马镇);
- Matou municipality (马 头镇).
The administrative area of Wumings also includes:
- the Baihe State Farm (百合 农场);
- the Dongfeng State Farm (东风 农场);
- the Nanningen investment area for overseas Chinese (南宁 华侨 投资 区).
