Throwing weight

The term throwing weight stands for:

  • a parameter of a fishing rod , which describes the limits of a weight load by bait and rigs
  • the total weight of the young in a litter, see litter (reproduction)
  • the weight of the hammer when throwing the hammer
  • the weight of the warhead that an ICBM can carry
  • the weight at one end of a throw line in nautical science
