X32 (Atari)

X32 is a historical music format for the Atari ST . The operating system provides XBIOS function no. 32 ("dosound") for playback , which plays the music in the background. In this way, it is possible to add background music or sound effects to an application with little programming effort. The function is available in all versions of the TOS operating system, including the unofficial Atari successor, Milan .
