eXtensible Access Control Markup Language
eXtensible Access Control Markup Language ( XACML ) is an XML - Schema that the representation and processing of authorization standardized -Policies.
The by OASIS - consortium defined standard is intended to establish rules by their evaluation of the access of subjects to resources of a system can be controlled. Version 2.0 was ratified by the standardization organization OASIS in February 2005. Version 3.0 was ratified in August 2010. The main new features are the ability to delegate rights and expanded options for specifying the applicability of access rules.
