The XMobots Nauru 500 is an unmanned aerial vehicle from the Brazilian manufacturer XMobots .

History and construction

The Nauru 500 is designed as a shoulder-wing wing and has a positive V-tail and a non-retractable nose wheel landing gear. The machine is made of wood and composite materials. The drone is powered by a 1.8 kW two-stroke engine (details are not known) that drives a pusher propeller. The UAV has a flight autonomy of 5:30 hours and can carry a payload of 6 kg. The drone can be launched conventionally or by catapult (in this case the landing gear is removed) and either landed on the landing gear or by parachute.
