Xiezhou

Xiezhou ( Chinese  解 州镇 , Pinyin Xièzhōu Zhèn ) is a large municipality in the Yanhu District of the prefecture -level city of Yuncheng in the Chinese province of Shanxi . It is the home of Guan Yu ( 关羽 ), who is venerated in the Guandi Temple (Xiezhou Guandimiao 解 州 关帝庙) - the largest Guandi temple in China and one of the most important sites of Daoism .

Xiezhou Guandi Temple has been on the list of monuments of the People's Republic of China (3-130) since 1988 .
