Xpert European Computer Passport

The Xpert European Computer Pass is a certificate of the adult education centers and is based on a Europe-wide uniform training and examination procedure. The seat of the European Examination Center is in Hanover.

Xpert training is offered at many adult education centers. The practice-oriented computer training consists of eight modules, each ending with an examination and a graded certificate. All exams consist of a theoretical and a practical part.

Compulsory module

  • Xpert starter

After successfully completing the compulsory module + 2 elective modules, the European Computer Pass Xpert is awarded. The exams for this must be taken within 18 months.

  • Spreadsheet
  • presentation
  • Database application

  • Word Processing Pro
  • Win @ Internet 1
  • Win @ Internet 2 (until December 31, 2011)
  • Xpert Starter (from January 1, 2010)

After successfully completing two additional modules, the European Computer Pass Xpert Master is awarded. The modules are freely selectable. The exams must be taken in a further 18 months.

The local adult education centers provide information about the training courses.
