xplosives.net

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

xplosives.net was a German-language internet forum that not only dealt with the topics of pyrotechnics , explosives , drugs and weapons , but also offered a platform for trading and selling these.

On August 20, 2019 at 4:30 am, the Göttingen Central Criminal Inspection and the Lower Saxony State Criminal Police Office confiscated the platform and the criminal content of the forum on behalf of the Central Office for Internet and Computer Crime of the Göttingen Public Prosecutor's Office. During the house searches, chemicals were confiscated that “could” be used to manufacture drugs, synthetic explosives ( picric acid , TNT , lead azide , etc.). But simple household funds were also confiscated, including sugar and simple cleaners. The house searches took place in nine federal states, as well as in Lithuania and Croatia. All those affected were “surprised” by the SEK and LKA at 4:30 am . According to the media, doors had to be blown open at some locations.

About 3,000 users were registered on the platform, but according to police figures, only 360 registered members used the website in 2018.

According to a police spokesman from Göttingen, the 22 most active members from 2019 were observed and prosecuted. These are initially men between the ages of 17 and 55. The "monster bomb" as found in the media has never been officially shown or confirmed.
