Xu Sheng

Xu Sheng († 225 ) was a general of the Wu Dynasty at the time of the Three Kingdoms in ancient China.

Xu Sheng participated in many battles for Wu. He has triumphed over outnumbered opponents a number of times in his career.

After Cao Pi to Kaiser had declared that he led a large army in an attack on Wu. As commander in chief of the Wu troops, Xu Sheng had a false wall built on the bank of the border river that was over 100 li long. When Cao Pi saw this wall, he immediately withdrew his army. In this way, Xu Sheng repelled the entire Wei invasion without a single person killed. Soon after, he died.
