Zhang Hong ( Chinese  張 紘 , * 152 ; † 212 ) was a Confucianist and minister under Sun Ce and Sun Quan , the princes of the Wu Dynasty at the time of the three kingdoms in ancient China.

He and his brother Zhang Zhao were known as the "two Zhangs". He has been a close friend of the Sun family since the Sun Jian days . After his death he was under Sun Ce for the writing of memoranda and essays on the emperors Han Xiandi and Cao Cao . After Sun C's death, he was supposed to serve Cao Cao, from whom he was then sent as a spy to Sun Quan. However, Zhang Hong remained loyal to the Wu and asked Sun Quan on his deathbed to develop Mo Ling City. This made Mo Ling the capital of Jianye (建業, today's Nanjing , Jiangsu ).
