Yūshi Soda ( Japanese 曽 田 雄 志 Soda Yūshi ; born July 5, 1978 in Hokkaido ) is a former Japanese football player .
Career
Soda learned to play soccer on the school team at Sapporo Minami High School and the university team at Tsukuba University . He signed his first contract in 2001 with Consadole Sapporo . The club played in the highest league in the country, the J1 League . At the end of the 2002 season, the club was relegated to the J2 League . In 2007 he became champions of the J2 League with the club and rose again to the J1 League. At the end of the 2008 season, the club was relegated to the J2 League. For the club he completed 232 games. At the end of 2009 he ended his career as a football player.
